1. First of all, congrats for being published.

>> Thank you! Thank you so much!! :)

2. Tell us something about your book.

>>  “MUTTON SOUP……Because chicks and chicken are so outdated…!!” is  basically
a story of ME and everything that makes ME. It's a blend of emotions, a
saga of love, a bond of friends and a turmoil of generation gap which
present day children share with their parents. I've collectively tried to
portray the youth of our era. It's a true story in which an absolute fancy
and freak, Pratham Devang, falls in love over a consolation phone call with
a hot-shot babe followed by a cosmopolitan intense romance. Book will take
you on a roller coaster ride, where you'll rise, fall, laugh, cry, dance,
flirt and finally fall in love.

3. Any character from the novel, you want to live in the real life?

>> Well, if you ask me that question, then I would say I'm already living
it. It is what I am. Either ways to say, I've put myself in the very first
book, so that my readers (who are soon going to be a vital part of my life)
should be aware of my existence. And at my heavenly surprise, in seek of
peace and solace for my soul, I discovered my real self in the process of
writing this book.

4. From where did you get the inspiration to write the novel?

>> I've always nourished my pen by finding inspiration from various
small-big things, be it my mother's bangles, or my father's tangles. But if
you ask about this book, then it was a heart break in October 2011, and at
the same time, the movie 'Rockstar' was released, which along with one of
its song 'Aur ho aur ho saans ka shor ho' proved to be the greatest
inspirations behind this book. And when we talk about Ideals, then to be
honest, Ideals are mere benchmarks, that you silently desire to achieve. My
ideals have been Mr. Nicholas Sparks and Mr. Imtiaz Ali.

5. Any special incident which took place while writing the book that you want to share?

>> Take challenges, and live them. Give the moments of happiness, and
relive them. Sometimes, life is more beautiful by giving and lowering your
expectations. In order to attain heaven, one doesn't necessarily need to
die and surrender life. Find it in the love that your mother does to you
silently, that you fail to see since you were blind in love. My book
contains a larger portion of it all.

6. How the engineering student Pratham is different from the writer and blogger Pratham?

>> (laughs) A good question. My Mechanical Engineering developed with my
craze and love for motors and machines, and my Writing developed by my
crave for words, alphas, languor. An engineering student during day, and a
writer during night is the attribute that constitutes me. When it comes to
quoting a difference between the two, then I would love to mention,
engineer from me comes out when university forces it (exams) and writer
comes out of me without any kinda force. It's truly I, Me and Myself.

7.  Define Pratham in one line.

>> A freak who'll flip the pages of your life, when he'll enter. (winks)

8. Any suggestion for the budding authors?

>> For all the buds and buddies out there, you are on the verge of getting
a biggest chance to mould hearts by your pen, just pour your heart out
through the ink of your pen. And always remember, your reader will smile
and sob with you, by the power of your pen and pages. Wish you all the luck. :)
